5 Thoughts about this post:
The songs are just great! I am so there with you one every single song. I've been a ER nurse for nearly 20 years, and have seen it all. Do me a favor and create a song about "FOB per rectum".
One more thought for you. In my ER we end up holding patients because the floor nurses are "too busy", or not enough staff and the hospital unwilling to use OT or agency. How about a song about holding and weak floor nurses?
Tex,
The tunes are awesome.
Here's a possible suggestion, after a 3 LAMA shift:
"Are you leaving AMA today" sung to the tune of "Do you know the way to San Jose"
emtb2rn, I like the suggestion...I don't care much for the original Warwick version, but Burt Bacharach's might do.
Check back, I'll see if I can get-er-done in the next week!
Hey Tex,
"Roxanne" by the Police came on the radio the other day and while singing along it hit me....
"Narcan".
Whaddaya think? Potential?
Narcan,
We're gonna ruin your high,
This day of partying is over,
You won't be heading for the light,
Narcan.....
BTW, "Trauma Queen" rocks! I work with one and love her.
